I have really enjoyed working with diigo. I think this is a great thing to have especially for when I become a teacher. I can use this for lesson plans and annotate what I like and do not like. I can write notes on what I would like to expand on more. This is a great way to easily annotate things on the internet. PowerPoint is one of my favorite things to use when creating things, especially if I wanted to create a lesson and project it for the kids. I can create a PowerPoint with lots of visuals for those who like to see things because it helps them learn better. Also being able to explain and show the students from PowerPoint will help them analyze the information and remember it better. It can also help them understand concepts more if I can explain it to them and they can see it displayed and be able to follow along. I think technology can improve teacher professional development tremendously. Technology can help us create lessons for students and help us out with lectures by dis...

I researched my old elementary school, St. Marks Episcopal Day School, to see the pages they have because I was very interested. They have a page on each elective, such as art, library, music and many more. I specifically looked at the art page. They explained that each student from pre- kindergarten to sixth grade attend art. They first learn the basic skills of art such as cutting things out and then as they get older they start to do more challenging things. Here is the link to the website:  https://www.stmarksdayschool.org/programs/resources/art Here is a screenshot of what I read:  I plan to use technology in my classroom with most of the things that I do when I teach. I would like to use google forms to make quizzes that the students can easily take online. I would also like to use Kahoot because it is a great way for students to review for things. I also would use PowerPoint for my lectures so that the kids can easily follow along while I display it on the overh...

I really liked Diigo. I liked how I could read the article and annotate it. I also liked that we could put comments on things that we highlighted. I did not like how we have to download it and have to have chrome for it to be applicable. The app is overall a great thing to have for teachers and students when needing to annotate an article. I have not really had any past experiences with blogging. I have liked blogging because I can share my experience on here. I do not like how the format of writing a blog is because sometimes it gets confusing. I have learned about a lot of programs that I have to write about that I never knew about. An interesting web 2.0 tool to me is Google Classroom. I think this a great way for students to be able to access assignments and take online quizzes. I can assign students quizzes and assignments and they can easily take them while I watch them in the classroom. This is a great way for me and the students to be able to easily access assignments.

ILP #1 Design- Google Classroom

For my ILP #1 I did the design method and I used google classroom for it. I created a quiz for second grade students in math. I did a google form and put it on the google classroom where all the students can access it and easily take the quiz in the classroom. Here is the link to a descriptive video of me talking about what I did. https://voicethread.com/share/13102676/

When I first downloaded twitter five years ago, I didn't know what it was really about. Everyone at school was talking about how great it was, so of course I had to check it out. I never really went on it a lot because it was just tweets from my friends tweeting about their day or trying to be funny. I didn't really like it until about a year or two ago when it became super popular and really funny memes on twitter would make my day a whole lot better, but I also went on there for news and to see what is going on in the sports world. Tweets actually keep me up to date on things going on in the world today. Twitter could be helpful in my future career because it could be helpful when seeing what other schools around me are up to and seeing their tweets and also reading the news about what is going on in the classroom around the country. The digital divide is typically when students who go to schools who cannot afford to have great technology and other things in their school com...
