I have used Microsoft Word for a long time as a student. I started using it when I was in elementary school. I used it a lot in high school when I had to write papers as well as in college so far. It has been very helpful when writing papers and having to make resume's and many other things. My teachers also use Word a lot. Many of them use it when doing their lectures or even assigning things and putting the directions on a word document. It has been a huge help with me being a student and also for my teachers using it for many different things.
I think a very important thing for a student is citing your sources no matter what. I have been a student for a very long time and even if I use just one sentence from another source I always make sure to cite it. I think plagiarism is a big issue with students these day and I think the issue with this needs to be addressed more. I think as teachers, on the first day of school this should be addressed in a serious matter and to show the importance of how it matters so much in today's world. Many students do not clearly understand this concept and how serious the consequences are so they do not cite their sources and it can result in serious consequences.
I think a potential issue to cyberbullying could be to create a mandatory class in either high school or college to explain how serious it is to bully a kid on the internet. This seriously could ruin a kid's life and I think learning about this is extremely important in our world right now, so I think students should be educated on this so that it will happen less.
I also think student privacy is very important to every student. This has been an issue going on for awhile now and students are afraid to even use their laptops because they think their could be hackers watching their every move, even doing school work or shopping online. I think this should be addressed by having a system to make sure every students computer or iPad or whatever they are using is safe and their is no one hacking them or trying to get their information. I think this would make all students feel better about their privacy and better about going online to do assignments and school work.

    The tricky thing is a single class/ workshop does not always solve the problem. Bullying is hard to deal with and cyberbully is even harder because it does not only happen on campus but it is open to the world :(

I think Excel is great for teachers. It can easily help them to average grades, see if students are passing or failing, find out the minimum and maximum of grades and much more. I really like using Excel and I think it will be very useful when I become a teacher. Excel is great for many different things to do as a teacher. I really liked the topic on PowerPoints. I liked getting the different perspectives of everyone in class. I liked to read about what everyone liked about it and did not like. I really enjoy PowerPoint and being able to use it for many different things. I thought it was interesting to see if other classmates like it as well. I would like to learn more about Google Docs and forms. I think these are great ways to be able to use in the classroom, but I do not know much about them so, if I were to learn more about them then I would probably use them a lot in the classroom. I really liked Diigo. I liked how I could read the article and annotate it. I also liked that we could put comments on things that we highlighted. I did not like how we have to download it and have to have chrome for it to be applicable. The app is overall a great thing to have for teachers and students when needing to annotate an article. I have not really had any past experiences with blogging. I have liked blogging because I can share my experience on here. I do not like how the format of writing a blog is because sometimes it gets confusing. I have learned about a lot of programs that I have to write about that I never knew about. An interesting web 2.0 tool to me is Google Classroom. I think this a great way for students to be able to access assignments and take online quizzes. I can assign students quizzes and assignments and they can easily take them while I watch them in the classroom. This is a great way for me and the students to be able to easily access assignments.
